Toad plays triumphant reunion show in Santa Barbara, opens for Counting Crows, and rings in New Year at LA's Roxy

January 1, 2003: Toad is back together--for now. Dean, Glen, Randy, and Todd played a triumphant reunion show December 4 in Santa Barbara. The concert was a benefit for the Santa Barbara Rape Crisis Center and featured special guests Nickel Creek.

The band then joined Counting Crows, opening a few shows for Duritz & Co. in California, before closing out the year with a New Year's Eve concert at Los Angeles' Roxy.

A 24-city tour is planned for February and early March. The band hasn't announced any plans beyond the winter tour, but hasn't ruled anything out, either. (At least, not publicly.)
